Does aim on alltel cell phones cost money?
I have an LG scoop alltel, it has aim options. My plan comes with the unlimited texting plan. So does it cost for aim? It said I had the standard texting rates apply for each sent and recieved message, but i have unlimited.

You can flash it to Cricket or Metro. Or you can use it on Page Plus Cellular which runs on Verizon prepaid network and can take most Verizon/Alltel phones without flashing. You will get talk/text/mms but probably no web with Page Plus unless you have it modified.
Page Plus has a new 39.95 unlimited talk/text/20 meg web plan out there. I would wait to try them out though as they are overloaded by demand right now. I would seriously wait 6-8 weeks till they have calmed down. Boost mobile was like this when they launched their unlimited plan too. It was impossible to get through.

With Alltel to change its Callback has to go to http://www.alltel.motricity.com From there register to configure their own personal profiles and ringtones. It will also be ringbacks able to establish for certain numbers or groups of numbers. It would not be able to do it from your cell phone, but then if you point your Blackberry browser to http://www.alltel.motricity.com may be able to do it that way. It's easier from a computer.
