Why does my Blackberry Storm battery keep dying at the hospital?

I work in the lab and even a totally full battery dies within a couple of hours.
I tried turning the connections off, as someone told me that my phone will constantly search for one when in a difficult spot, but that didnt work, it still drained


most likely there are too many programs running in the background. when your done with a app hit menu then exit or shutdown close etc dont just jump to another..

I just bought my blackberry storm. The battery only lasts 8-10 hours without me even using much during that period. Bluetooth is off, the screen brightness is on 10- the lowest possible, and the backlight timer is on the lowest time too. I don't understand

I have a Blackberry storm and the battery only last about a day and a half. I know its not a duff battery because for work I have a Blackberry curve which last for four to five days. I have switched batterys around and its still the same. So has anyone


This is weird because....

Your storm possesses a newer operating system, (which is either 4.7 or 5.0) is more efficient at handling energy than your curve which (which is probably running either 4.2 or 4.5).

Both the Storm and the 8900 use the D-X1 battery so yes, you can swap it between the Storm and the 8900 without issues.
