Aliph Jawbone 2
Jawbone 2 review: www.slashgear.com
When does the Jawbone Aliph 2 Titanium (silver) come out?
I know the black one is out, but I really want the silver one. It's the new slicker better one. When is it supposed to be released!?
a date hasn't been set yet...though I saw one of the employees with one the other day
The Aliph Jawbone...?
I just recently purchased a Jawbone, much to my delight. However, I've been reading some negative reviews on it such as the back pulling off etc. etc.... What's your take on the new Aliph Jawbone, and do you think they will make a Jawbone 2?
I just bought one and I love mine. When I use it, it actually sounds like I'm holding the phone and talking in stead of using a head set! I hate my boyfriends headset! He always sounds so far away. I hope they make a Alipha Jawbone 2! I hope you are enjoying
Blueant z9i / z9 or Aliph Jawbone?
I'm trying to decide between the 2 and can't. I've heard the jawbone is great but uncomfortable and that the blueant is comfortable but doesn't block out nose as well. Can anyone help me by weighing in on this?
Sorry I should have mentioned that
Neither! Get the Jawbone 2. It's waaay better than the first jawbone (comfort wise) but has all the awesome noise canceling features and great battery life.
What are some of the DARPA approved electronics?
I was reading about the Aliph Jawbone 2 headset. I read that it was DARPA approved and I was just wondering just for my own curiosity, what are some of the other electronics that are sold in the consumer market that is approved by DARPA?
The latest bit of sorcery brewing in DARPA’s noggin is nothing short of horrifying. They’re calling it the “Self-Regenerating Systems” program, and the name gives you a pretty good idea of what SRS is — the ability of technology systems to repair
What's the best Bluetooth headset on the market?
I heard about the ALIPH JAWBONE, and did some looking into the product. It seems like a great headset, but I'm not sure of they come in the Bluetooth 2.0 or 2.1. Heck, I don;t even know how important 2.0/2.1 is as compared to the 1.2.
Anyone
I have a nextel. I actually just got a new blue tooth that I'm waiting on from fedex..so when I get it I'll let you know..
Motorola Clutch +i475 (Boost Mobile)
The $99.99 Motorola Clutch +i475 isn't so much a sequel to the $79.99 Motorola Clutch i465 as a teaser trailer for the next release. Think of it as the Clutch-and-a-half. Still, an extra $20 gets you a better screen and a bigger keyboard on top of an already capable device. So if you're looking for a cell phone to take advantage of Boost Mobile's low monthly rates, and need a device that's good for voice calls, text messaging, and push-to-talk, this will satisfy you.
Design, Keyboard, and Call Quality
Samsung Trender SPH-M380 (Sprint)
It's getting tougher to justify buying feature phones these days, but the $29.99 Samsung Trender SPH-M380 is a solid effort. It's a good budget cell phone for anyone who texts frequently, but also wants something that's not too large and doesn't cost a bundle per month. Go with one of Sprint's unlimited feature phone plans, and you can do quite well with the Trender for the next two years.
Design, Call Quality, and Apps
The attractive Samsung Trender measures 4.2 by 2.2 by 0.6 inches (HWD) and weighs four ounces. It feels like a quality device, even though it's made entirely of plastic. The lightweight design and electric blue sides and back panel looked sharp on my review unit; you can also get one in purple. The smooth, flush, 2.8-inch, 240-by-320-pixel touch screen features vibrant color. Touch response is just okay for a plastic resistive LCD, and nowhere near as accurate as today's capacitive screens. It took two or three tries before many of my finger swipes and button presses registered. The slide-out QWERTY keyboard, on the other hand, is a gem. It features four rows of well-spaced, if flat, keys. I found the phone's small size and horizontal slider form factor made for a keyboard that's just the right width for fast two-finger typing.

Review: Aliph Jawbone 2 Bluetooth Headset Assassinates Noise ...
Aliph’s Jawbone 2 is my favorite Bluetooth headset and an item that should be on the top of your holiday shopping list. It’s both highly functional and highly fashionable, pleasing users with its NoiseAssassin technology and sleek styling.
The Jawbone 2 cancels background noise and isolates your voice by using algorithms developed for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. What this means in the real world is you can call your friends or colleagues from a crowded cafe and they won’t hear a thing except your voice.
The Jawbone 2 is a huge improvement over the original Jawbone, which I purchased when it came out (but returned it because it was too bulky). The new Jawbone 2 is very light and comes with several ear loops and buds to fit just about anybody. It’s comfortable in the ear and its so light you’ll forget you’re even wearing it.
