The enV touch is already available as of June 5, 2009. It is actually the voyager 2, but since plantronics already has a copywrite on voyager for their headsets, they decided to change the name to enV touch or vx11000.

I just got the enV touch from Verizon, and I want to upload my pictures to facebook. I couldn't figure out how to do it from facebook mobile on the phone, and I don't know if there are any other ways to do that.

Well. there is a lot of ways. you can :
1. send the picture (pic msg) to your email address. then save it off of the email onto your computer. and then upload it.
2. idk about facebook. but on myspace, you can go into settings

I used to own a Voyager and had a lot of problems with it - I think because it was one of the first touch screen messaging phones and there were still glitches.

Me and my wife both have an Env Touch (feature phone) with unlimited data (plan was $30 for the main line and the $10 for each additional line, all lines unlimited data). A few days ago I changed my plan to the unlimited smartphone data plan on both my phones (now $30 for each phone). I knew it would cost more, but I thought I would of been grandfathered in with the unlimited smartphone data plan, especially seeing how I just increased the price on my plan.
I went today to upgrade my phone and was told that I would have to change my current plan to one of the new tired plans, even though I’m paying for the unlimited smartphone plan, all because I don’t have a “smartphone”. What I don’t understand why did Verizon let me select the unlimited smartphone data plan without having a smartphone, but now all of a sudden I must already own a smartphone to keep the plan with an upgrade.

It looks like LG and Verizon have heeded my long-standing request to turn the enV series of phones into Android devices , saving a brand name and keyboard line that was/is highly successful and familiar. An inside source at Engadget says the LG enV Touch 2 will have dual touchscreens (outside/inside) along with Android 2.1 in a bulky/heavy frame.
I can tell you right now that I think the enV Touch 2 will be a HUGE success. It won’t be the most heavily powered Android Phone by any means- it will instead attempt to reach the middle of the road consumer who doesn’t want to pay big bucks for a smartphone but finds Android and smartphones in general a cool option. I’m thinking the LG enV Touch 2 will accomplish what the Motorola Devour should have tried. Of course this is a matter of opinion.

The followup to LG’s popular messaging phone the enV Touch (pictured above) will make the jump to Android, according to a source close to the situation. Our friends at Engadget are reporting the LG enV Touch 2 will feature a unique clam-shell design similar to the original with dual-touchscreens (a small one on the outside, and a larger one on the inside when you flip it open).
Current test versions of the phone are running Android 2.1, but it will be upgraded to 2.2 by the time Verizon launches it this holiday season. The enV Touch 2 is also said to be a dual-mode global device, like we have heard other future Verizon smartphones.
We just reported LG has chosen the NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor for their high-end phones, so there is always the chance we could see the dual-core CPU in the enV Touch 2. Verizon has traditionally marketed the enV brand as a featurephone, but the move to Android could suggest a high-end device is in store.
