I saw a commercial for that new Android phone the LG Ally. I know it comes out late May. Does anybody think it's gonna be a good phone?

Will the lg ally save the conversation in a text or does it only show the individual texts?
I'm thinking about getting the lg ally and replacing my centro but the one thing i like about it is that when texting it saves the whole converstion per each person. Does it do this on the lg ally?

How can I download a live weather screen for my Android Lg Ally?
On my phone I automatically have the temperature, but my sister had an application where your phone's background was of the live weather (sunny,cloudy, etc). She doesn't have the Lg Ally anymore, so she forgot where she downloaded the live weather from.
Get on the home screen then click the details button the button in between the home button and end call button then click add then widgets and then scroll near the bottom click weather once you see it then add city add your city and that's it

I love it too! Ok so you're having trouble with the widget? I know i did too. when you set you settings on what you want, you have to click the city you set. Then it will disappear and set it on the page.

iTouch tethering to an LG Ally - Android Forums
OK, without having to root my phone with 16 annoying steps, I was trying to use PDAnet Bluetooth DUN to tether my new iTouch to the LG Ally. Unfortunately, the iTouch says the LG Ally isnt a supported device. I also have an iPad (same error) So does anyone know of a way to do this? I work on a windows 7 pc, so Linux rooting isnt my bag. Do I just have to wait till someone makes an EZ App? I know my phone will get tethering in the new update (whenever that is) but I know verizon will charge extra to use it.
LG Ally vs LG Shine PLUS - Android Forums
I might pick up the Shine Plus next week, I've been watching as many videos as I can find on the Shine Plus but mostly found the Ally and the OS does look laggy in response (swipe the screen and 2 seconds later it responds), but there was one Shine Plus video where almost no lag occured but I think that was due to standard wallpaper and standard Android UI (not LG Home).

This is the VZB update rooted, deodexed, junkware removed, and files that kill your custom recovery removed delivered as a full rom. This has the new radio in it too. Be careful when flashing that you do not power off phone or cancel the update once started as it can brick if you do. Check the MD5 for a match before you flash to make sure the update is not corrupted in downloading as this is vital as it has a radio.img. Removed apps will be in a folder called VZB on your sdcard after flashing.
