because the dares charger is a usb cord that goes into a thing that plugs into the wall that has a usb port on it. haha i dont know the real words. im wondering if i can plug my ipod connection cord into the wall connection piece for my phone cord, without

Can I use my ENV2 phone charger on my LG Dare?
I had an ENV2 but today upgraded to the LG DARE..when I use the ENV2's phone charger on the Dare..it charges, but when I first plug the charger into the phone it says the cable is not reccomended for that phone? can I use this charger or not?
well yes u can still use it but it may make ur phone die faster because it is not getting a good charge and it is just a not good idea :)

It's smaller than a USB 1, but what is this type of USB cable/port actually called? I'm looking into finding another charger exactly the same as it, but don't want to buy it from the Verizon store because prices will be much higher there.
Try looking on amazon for the charger. They have good and cheap prices. You can see what other phones are listed on the charger. It'll be under compatibility.

Before getting my Incredible, I had an LG Dare. Both phones use a micro USB cord for charging. While driving I needed to charge the Inc, but only had the Dare car charger available. When I got home, the Inc was extremely hot and shut itself down. After letting it cool down, it turned on, but the battery level was too low (right after charging with the car charger) and it shut back down. Charging with the Inc wall charger returned the phone to operating status with no apparent damage (haven't noticed a hit to the already short battery life).
