I bought a new Nokia 1200. The set can receive messages but unable to send. I am using BSNL CellOne connection. The same sim card works well in other mobile phones. Any configuration is required? dont know much about it.

Try this switch off your cell phone then take out the sim card and then re-insert it. Trust me it will work because i get these warnings displayed on my cell phone every week or the other and yeah if that doesn't work talk to your service provider.

you need to do the flashing after your mobile's all codes will be reset to standard codes but your all data which is stored in the mobile will be lost all your contacts

I've just removed the battery and then place it back on. And now it does not power on.
Try cleaning the battery contacts on both battery and the phone. I would use acetone on q-tip (cotton swab) to do it.

Further increasing its engagement with the Indian market, Nokia is now focussing on strengthening its utility services called Life Tools that provide information to users on agriculture, healthcare and education. With a “knowledge desk” well set at its Bangalore R&D centre, the Finnish mobile phone manufacturer is planning to add more utility services to help and empower various communities, particularly farmers.

We already have 1.7 crore users of this service…with mobile penetration increasing fast, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas, we hope to connect 70 per cent of Indians through Life Tools,” Nokia India Head (Emerging Markets Services) B. V. Natesh told this correspondent.
