iPhone has a charm of its own. I just got one and it is amazing and worth an experience. Of course you will not get all features in every phone. If you choose Nokia then it has to be N900, the choice is yours, Check

Apple tops smartphone shipments for first time in Q2 2011
Nokia remained the top global mobile phone vendor for numbers of devices shipped in Q2, but it share was down severely on Q2 2010. Apple dislodged Nokia as the top smartphone manufacturer for the first time, according to the latest figures from analyst IDC.
Nokia’s total market share took a hammering compared with Q2 2010. Its share of 24.2% was down 20.3% from 33.8% a year ago with 88.5 million devices shipped. IDC said that inventory build-ups in its traditional strongholds of China and Europe led to a sharp decline in shipments year on year. However, its dual-Sim devices did well with 2.6 million shipped in Q2.
Windows Phones Down 38% Since '7' Launch
The question is for how much longer handset makers and carriers will consider it worth supporting Windows Phone 7. Microsoft's mobile market share has been declining at a compound rate of about 5% per month for the past six months. At that pace, its overall share may be be hovering around just 4% by the end of the year.
Meanwhile, rival Google is on track to dominate smartphones. Android devices held 40% of the market as of the end of June, according to Comscore. Apple's share came in at

The worldwide mobile phone market grew 11.3% year over year in the second quarter of 2011, despite a weaker feature phone market, which declined for the first time since Q3 2009. Nokia Corp. remained the top maker of mobile phone despite of major losses of the market of smartphones.
According to the International Data Corp. (IDC), vendors shipped 365.4 million units in Q2 2011 compared to 328.4 million units in the second quarter of 2010. The 11.3% growth was lower than IDC's forecast of 13.3% for the quarter and was also below the 16.8% growth in Q1 2011.

Impressive detail in almost all the pictures. To me it looks like the N8′s exposure algorithm is tuned for slight under-exposure for my liking. However, it’s great to see they’ve toned down the sharpening and saturation compared to their earlier models (I have the N82).
Is there a way to create a custom setting with the exposure turned up a notch and have it as a default? That would be the ticket. Also, how is the focus reliability and general speed of the camera? Can you select area to focus on? How good is close-up mode? Maybe a camera software and UI review would be helpful to follow this. Thanks!

Yes, you can set exposure, ISO, white balance, saturation, sharpness etc. and save them to a preset (which you can make the default).
